What is Kpop?
Kpop means Korean pop. It is a type of music that is produced by companies in South Korea. The language that is mostly used in Kpop is (of course) Korean, but English is the 2nd most used. Unlike many American music companies, Koreans usually make a group of singers/dancers instead of just having a solo performer. Korean companies most likely make their groups combine into a whole family. American companies don't, you probably don't even know that Beyonce and Katy Perry are in the same company. Take YG Entertainment for example. They, as a whole, is called YG Family. FAMILY. Also, companies hold out auditions for becoming a trainee in their company, instead of just hiring them by the persons raw talent. If you saw Heechul from Super Junior's audition video you'll be surprised that he even made it to Super Junior. For example, if you had potential, and was set on becoming a trainee, but didn't know how to dance, you will know how to dance. Same thing goes for singing.
