How To Get Over Him
First Step
The first thing to do is write him a letter, but don't actually send it. Write about how you felt when you broke up, how much they meant to you, the things you wanted to do with them, and what you want to say to them now. Then keep the letter locked away or burn it. Think of it as if you are locking him out of your life or burning memories you don't want to keep.
Second Step
The second thing to do is to do what ever makes you feel happy. Eat comfort food such as chocolate or ice cream, or text or call a friend. Don't call the ex!!! It will only make it worse!! You can get a hair cut or dye your hair. Don't go scissor crazy and start cutting your hair though!! Go shopping, eat with friends, have a slumber party, watch a movie. Do what your heart desires, but always remember your limits.
Third Step
Are you feeling better yet? Now set a date to forget him (e.x. June 20) ,but if you want it can be a person date ;). So once you have your date you can do what you want to do. As if you want to remind yourself about the fun times you've had you can do that once or twice. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT remind yourself too many times or you'll start again at the first step. If you have a person date you can have fun with them, bring the relationship to the next level. But don't go too fast through the relationship or "the cupcake phase." Then its going feel like your finished with the ex and the relationship you had is just to learn from, not to be lived again.
